Madonna’s ’soulmate’ Alex Rodriguez is buying a New York penthouse apartment two blocks from the superstar’s home in a bid to be close to her. 

‘Alex knows that this is a difficult time for Madonna, especially as she has children,’ a source said, speaking of her divorce.

Meanwhile Madonna, who’s 50, is hoping she can have a ‘natural’ child with Rodriguez, despite her age. Good luck with that…

Britney Spears plans to set the record straight about her personal and professional troubles in a documentary to be aired just before the release of her new album “Circus” in December.

Brit said, “I sit there and I’ll look back and I’m like: I’m a smart person. What the hell was I thinking?” the 26-year-old singer says in the documentary shot by filmmaker Phil Griffin over three-months.

I guess we’ll find out what she was thinking in the documentary.

Rumor has it that Jennifer Lopez has been successfully converted to Scientology by her best friend and King of Queens star Leah Remini. In an interview with The Daily Beast, J. Lo admits she’d let her children attend a Scientology school then basically confesses she’s a follower herself:

“Would you consider schooling Emme and Max in a Scientology school?” she was asked, to which she replied,

“Yeah. I wouldn’t mind. Not at all. Because I know that the technologies that they have are very helpful…It’s all about communication. That’s the thing I really don’t like about talking about this. I do know so many great people who do do it, who choose it as a lifestyle and really follow it and it is their religion…I just wish that people wouldn’t judge it without knowing what it is.”

Courtney Love once wrote on her blog that she was inspired to lose weight by Oprah Winfrey who got thin by drinking slimming drinks, however, now it seems she’s opted for the ‘quick fix’ of having a gastric band fitted.

A source told the the News of the World: ‘Courtney keeps laughing to her friends and saying, “Everyone thinks I’ve had hypnosis but why bother with all that effort? All I did was check myself in and have a fat band fitted’.”

Shame they didn’t put it over her mouth instead…

Janet Jackson has bailed on yet another show! That’s six altogether.

According to her rep, Janet cancelled last night’s show in Greensboro, NC, today’s show in Atlanta, and tomorrow’s in Fort Lauderdale because ’she’s not fully recovered.’ From what? They wouldn’t say. 

She already missed shows in Montreal, Boston, and Philly, and went to the hospital in Montreal minutes before her show was supposed to start Monday. Her doctor has ordered her to go home for further treatment.

The troubled star has apparently received a “welcoming” phone call from the religious sect’s “celebrity centre” in LA.

A source revealed, “They told her they wanted to help her beat drugs and could tailor-make a programme so she wouldn’t have to go to a residential centre. She liked that idea because her husband is out of prison soon and wouldn’t want to be away from him when he’s freed.”

Let’s hope they can actually do something to stop her self-destructing.

Reports are emerging that Elvis Presley may have a half-sister.

It’s being claimed that his father had a love child who was given up for adoption to a Texas family. The woman that the child now is - who goes by the name of Eliza Alice Presley - is hoping for a financial settlement from Elvis’s father’s estate.

Her representative, Donald Yates, reveals DNA tests carried out in Arizona match the genetic make-up of Elvis’s cousin Donna.

He told America’s Globe, “I’m 99.99 per cent sure that Eliza Presley and Elvis Aaron Presley are half siblings.”

Wow, how’s that for an adoption fairytale??
