Madonna’s ’soulmate’ Alex Rodriguez is buying a New York penthouse apartment two blocks from the superstar’s home in a bid to be close to her. 

‘Alex knows that this is a difficult time for Madonna, especially as she has children,’ a source said, speaking of her divorce.

Meanwhile Madonna, who’s 50, is hoping she can have a ‘natural’ child with Rodriguez, despite her age. Good luck with that…

Madonna and New York Yankee Alex ‘A-Rod’ Rodriguez enjoyed a cozy dinner for two at Dos Caminos Third Avenue on Tuesday a source told Usmagazine.

They pair ate at an alcove-like table in the back and a source said, “They seemed very close”.

Madonnna and Lourdes

According to recent reports, Madonna is trying to keep her daughter Lourdes out of the spotlight until after she’s finished her education.

Lourdes, who’s 11,  was apparently approached to star in a forthcoming movie adaptation of Sue Monk Kidd’s novel The Secret Life Of Bees and is seems that she’s keen to pursue an acting career.

However, a source close to Madonna told Star magazine, “Madonna didn’t work ’til after school and she wants it to be the same for Lourdes. She doesn’t want her to enter that harsh world.”

The insider added, “Lourdes is pretty determined, so I predict a battle in the future.”

Is it just me or does Lourdes bear an uncanny resemblance to Ugly Betty??
